There is no airport on Hayman Island. Guests arrive via Hamilton Island and then connect with a boat transfer service, to and from Hayman Island. The journey takes around 60 minutes and the transfer rate is AUD 220 per adult and AUD 110 per child ( aged 5 - 16 years ), each way from Hamilton Island to Hayman Island.

Please note, it is a mandatory requirement that InterContinental Hotels - Hayman Island Resort receives flight and travel details 14 days prior to arrival. Without this information, transfers will be subject to availability and may incur additional costs. DECEPCIONANTE. NO CAIGÁIS EN EL ENGAÑO
El hotel con el peor servicio que he estado en mi vida. De verdad que no lo recomiendo nada, para empezar te obliga a contratar un servicio de transporte por valor de 220 dólares por trayecto y persona. No debiendo ser así ya que no hay otra forma de ir a la isla del hotel, debería ser un servicio incluido. No obstante decidimos pagarlo y nuestra sorpresa fue que nos lo vendieron como un yate exclusivo y la realidad es que es un barco que utilizan para transportar al personal que trabaja en el hotel. Obviamente no tenemos inconveniente en que vaya personal del hotel pero lo venden como algo exclusivo, a precio exclusivo y alto lo único que hacen es que con el dinero que tú pagas por persona, lo utilizan para transportar a los trabajadores del hotel. Además, el primero día nos tuvieron esperando media hora y no nos ayudan con las cuatro maletas que llevamos y creo que con el precio que se paga mínimo que lleguen puntuales y te ayuden con las maletas (cosa que dicen que harán cuando contratas el servicio, no es fácil bajar y subir unas maletas de puerto al barco que está abajo con una rampa grande de por medio). Es educación, si ves a dos personas con cuatro maletas y dos mochilas, lo normal es ofrecer ayuda no quedarte mirando. El transporte no se adapta a tu horario de vuelo, si no al horario de entrada y salida de los trabajadores. Nos han hecho hacer el check out a las 5:45 de la mañana y coger el “yate” a las 6:30 cuando nuestro vuelo sale a las 2 y así aprovechan y llevan y recogen a gran cantidad de empleados que es lo que hemos visto cuando hemos llegado. Además, nos dijeron que se habían puesto de acuerdo con las aerolíneas para cuadrar ese horario para nuestro viaje. No siendo así ya que nosotros tenemos que esperan tirados durante cuatro horas a que nos recojan para llevarnos al aeropuerto. Le pedí si podíamos salir sobre las 10 y me dijeron que no, que sólo tenían ese horario, que es el que les conviene para la entrada de trabajadores. UN SERVICIO PÉSIMO.
